On 31 December 2000 Mr. Thomas retired from the U.S. Army as a Major General after thirty two years in command, staff and operational intelligence positions at every level.In the corporate world he worked as a Vice President for various operations in two smaller companies that, after a series of acquisitions, became a part of BAE Systems. Mr. Thomas left BAE systems in 2011 where he most recently served as Vice President and General Manager of Systems Engineering Solutions. He joined ACADEMI, a private security company as COO and remained with them until accepting the position of CEO and President of Leonie Industries in April 2013. Chuck stepped down as President in 2016 and currently serves as Leonie’s Chairman of the Board. His Army career included Military Intelligence battalion command in Germany, Brigade command in Turkey and command of the U.S. Army Intelligence Center and Fort Huachuca in Arizona. He served as G-2 (senior intelligence officer) of the 24th Infantry Division (Mechanized) at Fort Stewart, GA; Director of the Central Command Joint Intelligence Center in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm; Vice J-2 to the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Pentagon and Senior Intelligence Officer to Commander, U.S. Army, Europe. His final duty position before retirement was as Chief of Staff, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command at Fort Monroe, VA.
Scott joined Leonie in 2011, and was named President in May, 2016. Prior to taking over as President, he held leadership positions in operations and program management in Leonie’s DC headquarters and in Kabul, Afghanistan. In these positions, he managed customer relationships, contracts, finance, workforce planning and productivity, and led business development strategy and execution. As President, he leads the company’s commitment to make each client mission the Leonie mission – this includes driving and delivering strategy, operations, finance, and partnering with the Board on planning for Leonie’s long-term growth and success.Before joining Leonie, Scott worked as Strategic Communications Advisor alongside General David Petraeus, then Commander of International Security Assistance Forces (ISAF) Afghanistan. Scott is an eight-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps and conducted numerous combat deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan under Marine Central Command (MARCENT) and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Special Operations Capable (15th MEU SOC). Scott has a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business—where he studied business applications of strategy, finance, and operations—with an emphasis on global business. He received his Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The American Military University. Scott has been a guest lecturer at Georgetown University—discussing "Growth of the ISIS narrative: Can the U.S. influence the war of ideas?" and is a mentor at Veterati, a nationwide network of successful American professionals providing career mentorship to transitioning veterans.
Mr. Baldridge joined Leonie Industries in October 2006 as Director of Finance to implement all accounting, purchasing, payroll, and pricing systems. He currently serves on the Board of Managers where he assists in the formulation of strategic planning. He has more than 20 years of accounting, finance, investing, and asset management experience supporting engineering, construction, and expert services to the government and private sectors.Mr. Baldridge began his government contracting career with the start-up of a linguist company providing services to DEA and DHS. In eight years the company grew from less than $100k to over $25M per year. He served as CFO and completed his service by pricing out a DOD proposal which was awarded to the company for $425M over five years. Mr. Baldridge was brought to Leonie when it was in its early formation and in need of systems, processes, and procedures. During his time the company successfully completed multiple audits and was certified for government accounting by DCAA. His involvement in proposal pricing has been critical to the company's success in obtaining over $1B in awards while growing the company from $20M in Revenue to $95M. Mr. Baldridge received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Science from Westmont College. He has completed extensive post-graduate coursework in accounting, auditing, and business management.
